Dr. Stephen Barton
Dr. Stephen Barton holds a Ph.D. in City & Regional Planning from the University of California and is the former Housing Director for the City of Berkeley.

Alfred Twu
​Housing Activist & Artist from Berkeley, CA. In 2018, Twu ran for Berkeley City Council on a platform of creating new housing & expanding tenant protections. Alfred works as an architect, is on the board of the CA Democratic Renters Council, and has worked on ballot measures for rent control and funding affordable housing.

Jake Varghese
Professional Software Architect and Amateur Policy Architect.  Jake Varghese is on the board or Our Revolution East Bay and a board member of Public Bank East Bay.  He is also a Staffer/Senior Architect with Progressive Coders Network (formerly CodersForSanders).

Gayle McLaughlin
Previously Gayle was Mayor of Richmond, California for two terms and is now on the City Council. She was the founder of the Richmond Progressive Alliance as well as the California Progressive Alliance. As Mayor, during the mortgage crisis she worked to have Richmond and a private finance company buy the underwater mortgages and get them refinanced for the owners. Gayle is also author of Winning Richmond: How a Progressive Alliance Won City Hall.
